Executive Chairman - Grant Hawkins
Grant
Hawkins has held the role of Executive Chairman of Target Group
since 2008, having joined the company as Financial Director in
1980, later becoming Chief Executive and Chairman.
Grant's extensive career in financial services began in 1971
when he qualified as a chartered accountant and subsequently joined
the Sterling Credit Group, a publicly-quoted banking, finance and
insurance broking group, as Group Financial Controller. Later,
as Group Finance Director, his responsibilities extended
across finance, including international acquisitions,
treasury, funding and corporate finance. For 10 years he was also
Non-Executive Director with Hyder plc. Grant is a graduate in Economics
from the University of Wales. Grant is an FSA approved person.
Chief Executive Officer - James Snow
Prior to
his appointment as Chief Executive Officer in 2010, James held the
roles of CEO Target Services, Chief Operating Officer and Strategy
Director during his time at Target.
With a background in financial IT, James has in-depth
knowledge of the wider financial services marketplace and how
providers can underpin service with technology to achieve
competitive advantage. James's experience spans over 20
years. Prior to joining Target he ran the sales and marketing
division of technology leasing company Rental Research, and was
National Sales Manager for Advanced Technologies
International. Earlier in his career he held a
systems and software finance consultancy role for ECS
International, a subsidiary of Société
Générale. James is an FSA approved person.
Group Managing Director - James Rudolf
James
took on the role of Group Managing Director in 2010. He is
responsible for service delivery across the Group.
Prior to his appointment, James held the posts of CEO Target
Software and Sales and Marketing Director for Target Group. James
previously worked in management and business solution sales in the
UK and emerging markets. This gave him the ideal platform from
which to develop Target's sales and marketing strategy and to
prepare for further growth across the Group. James is an FSA
approved person.
Chief Financial Officer - David Heath
David's
position as Chief Financial Officer covers several key
areas within Target Group, including corporate finance, financial
servicing, contracts and risk and compliance.
David is FSA authorised, with 30 years' accounting experience,
21 of which have been within the finance sector. He spent
time with Ford Financial Services Group before becoming a freelance
financial consultant prior to joining Target Group.
David's experience includes a broad range of back office
management, financial product experience and value realisation from
closed loan books.
Chief Operating Officer - Glen Herbert
Having
joined Target Group in 2008 as Chief Operating Officer, Glen
oversees the management of Target Services, maintaining
relationships with key clients whilst ensuring they receive a high
standard of service.
Glen has 32 years of experience in financial services, with a
background in Enterprise Risk Management and Operations. His
career has included working in Alliance and Leicester as Head of
Mortgage Policy and Risk (Corporate and Branch Banking), COO and
Risk Director in GMAC-RFC and COO Firstplus (Barclays).
Glen is an FSA approved person and a member of many professional
bodies including the Institute of Directors and FCIB. He has
a degree in Banking and Finance.
Non-Executive Director - Greg Lock
Greg Lock was appointed to
the Board as non-executive director in 2001.
Since leaving Cambridge 30 years ago, Greg worked until April
2000 for IBM. He has lived and worked in the USA,
France, Germany and in the UK, in a career that saw him reach the
most senior position attained in the IBM Corporation by a UK
national. As Global General Manager, Industrial sector, he had
worldwide responsibility for IBM's business with companies in the
Automotive, Aerospace, Electronics, Chemical, Petroleum and other
manufacturing industries.
He served as a member of the IBM Worldwide Management Council,
and as a Governor of the IBM Academy of Technology. Greg serves as
Executive Chairman of Orchestream Holdings and a non-executive
director of SurfControl PLC and Nexagent Limited. In addition he is
an active private investor in, and supporter of, start-up companies
and an advisor to a number of private equity investment
companies.
He holds an MA in Natural Sciences from Churchill College
Cambridge and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts,
Manufacturers and Commerce.
