A highly successful business leader with a strong record of running and
growing significant businesses in the FinTech space. Paddy has driven
businesses with turnover up to £450 million and 3000 people. He has also
demonstrated a strong ability to continually improve profitability as a
proportion of turnover.
Paddy has successfully managed service provision for key elements of the National Infrastructure, including the London Metal Exchange's trading platform and the entirety of the Lloyd's of London insurance market’s support services. Paddy has also driven significant relationship led deals at the C-level; most of these deals have involved high volumes, transformations and complexity, all of which have completed successfully.Since joining Target just over two years ago, revenue has increased by over 50% with EBITDA increasing by 200%.
Bill has over 25 years’ experience of working within the Financial Services, Investment Banking and Insurance sectors. He has extensive C-level experience and has a strong strategic, operational and consulting background at major corporates delivering significant financial and service performance. He has a successful track record in leading technology driven organisations at Xchanging, Dun and Bradstreet, ING Barings and KPMG. He also has a proven track record at driving significant sales and service improvement resulting in improved financial returns. Earlier in his career, Bill specialised in transformational change leading major global projects based both here in the UK and overseas. Bill qualified as a Chartered Engineer and is FCA approved.
James is responsible for sales within the Business Development team. He is an FCA approved person.
James is a very experienced and dynamic business development leader who has personally been responsible for generating over 20 new servicing contract wins including key transformational client contracts. His contract wins have accelerated the growth of Target since the start of Target’s servicing business in 2007 and span multiple loan and investment products. James has also closed many profitable software and IT service contracts during his successful sales career leading Target’s business development across all business lines. James was a founding director of Target’s servicing business and has a strong corporate strategy and marketing acumen.
Rhiannon is responsible for leading the HR people strategy, to provide a best practice Human Resources service within Target Group.
Rhiannon is a CIPD qualified Human resources leader with over 20 years’ experience across a range of industry sectors including manufacturing, telecommunications and defence before joining Target 10 years ago. Rhiannon has led Human Resources activities to support Target's growth and acquisition strategy ranging from large scale recruitment exercises for the on-boarding of new servicing clients to leading large scale TUPE transfers. Rhiannon interacts proactively with clients to ensure the successful transition of employees to Target, ensuring that those employees are fully trained to deliver an excellent service on behalf of our clients.
Terry is responsible for building upon an established compliance
foundation and to reinforce and maintain the risk and compliance
framework that adds value to Target’s business and clients.
Prior to joining Target, Terry worked in professional services with Grant Thornton as a Director in its regulatory practice. Terry's practical experience includes most financial services sectors, including retail and investment banking, insurance and intermediaries.
Terry's previous experience also includes working for the regulator. He joined the Personal Investment Authority which merged into the Financial Services Authority in 2000. During this time Terry conducted a number of regulatory reviews on large financial services organisations and was recognised as one of three specialists within FSA in Training and Competence.
David joined Target as Market Relations Director in January 2014. Prior
to that, he spent 2012/13 at Ulster Bank in the Republic of Ireland as
Director of the Arrears Support Unit, halting the multi-year trend of
increasing arrears and reducing it by over €400m (from €6.3bn) in just
over one year.
Prior to that David was the Managing Director of Platform Home Loans from its period under private equity ownership in 1999 until 2012. During that time he led the business through a period of extraordinary growth. He has extensive experience in wholesale funded lending, culminating in £4bn of originations and £50m profit in 2006. During the 1990s, David ran Platform as the UKs second largest TPA under the ownership of Lehman Brothers.
Roger is a highly experienced financial services’ executive with a broad
skill-set spanning COO and Business Development Board-level roles. He
has strong strategic, operational, and regulatory risk management
expertise. He has led client service and operations for major financial
services and insurance businesses. At Target, his role encompasses
primary responsibility for all client relationships.
Roger has an MBA from London Business School.
Ian joined Target as CFO in October 2014, he is responsible for our
group finance team and is a fellow of The Chartered Institute of
Management Accountants. Ian brings over 20 years of financial services
experience to Target. Ian will also act as a Director of a number of the
Group’s regulated companies, subject to FCA approval.
Previously Ian has spent 8 years at Lloyds Banking Group, with highlights being increasing Lloyds' market share of new personal current accounts from 9% to 19%. Plus as MD Consumer Banking, Ian increased asset-based lending to Corporate and SME customers by 13% while reducing costs by 13%. Before joining Lloyds Ian spent 3 years as CFO at Virgin Money and 4 years at McKinsey. Ian has a first class Degree in Chemical Engineering from University College Dublin, an INSEAD MBA.
Richard Houghton is Chairman having joined Target in May 2012. In 1999
he was a founding director of Xchanging plc, the business process and
technology services provider and integrator. For over 10 years he held
senior roles including Chief Operating Officer, and more recently Chief
Financial Officer. He led the successful floatation of the business on
the London Stock Exchange in 2007.
Richard was also Divisional Chief Executive of Caradon plc which he joined following a period at McKinsey & Company. He has a Masters in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge and achieved his MBA at Harvard.
James has been with the Pollen Street Capital investment team since 2004
and has been originating and managing investments across various
sectors. Over the last five years James has focused on investing in
credit opportunities and financial services.
Prior to his current role James worked for RBS in leveraged finance from 2001. Prior to that worked as a commercial director for a software engineering firm, in a consulting role for E&Y and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC. James has degree in History and Politics from Exeter University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
