Head of Strategic Relationships, StepChange Vanessa is Head of Strategic Relationships at StepChange, where she is responsible for key relationships and a broader network of over 500 organisations and growing the charity digitally to support the millions of UK consumers who need help with their money worries. Prior to joining the charity, she was at the OpenWrks group and led on external relations for Tully, the UK’s first digital debt advice organisation to utilise open banking. She has a passion for vulnerable consumers and led E.ON’s vulnerable consumer strategy, where she implemented an award winning identification and support tool and a £6million hardship fund. She has a broad leadership background in communications, employee engagement, strategy and operations and has worked in energy, financial services and telecoms.

Richard brings over 20 years of client services and business development experience, with a deep understanding of public sector clients. Previously Managing Director, EMEA at Williams Lea Tag, he spent over a decade leading critical public sector relationships before successfully establishing and leading a dedicated public sector business development team.
