Leading outsourcer and software provider Target Group has announced the appointment of Paul Lynam as a non-executive director, further strengthening the experience and expertise of its board.

Paul brings more than 35 years of leadership experience across the banking and financial services sector. He has held a number of senior executive and board positions, including serving as Chief Executive Officer of Equiniti Group and Secure Trust Bank. Prior to this, Paul spent more than two decades with NatWest and RBS, where he led major business divisions through periods of growth, transformation and change.

Throughout his career, Paul has developed a strong reputation for combining commercial leadership with a people-focused approach. He has successfully led large organisations, driven business performance and helped shape cultures that support colleague engagement, development and long-term success.

In addition to his executive experience, Paul has held a variety of board and governance roles and has remained committed to supporting the development of future talent within the financial services industry through teaching, examining and professional governance activities.
